Personal profile

In the year 2023, my primary research project regards different perspectives of language in sports, focusing on language as a tool for power, teaching, and democracy. During 2023, I will keep on working part-time at the Linneaus University at the department for sports sciences. One of the projects focuses on subject-specific literacy in the school subject Health and Physical Education, partly sponsored by Centrum för Idrottsforskning.

My primary focus in research is how grammatical tools can be used to improve students' and pupils' writing skills and how grammar can be taught in class.

In my part-time work as guest researcher at the Department for sports sciences, Linneaus University, my main project is Education for Equitable Health Outcomes – the Promise of School Health and Physical Education (EDUHEALTH 2.0). This involves studies in applied linguistics, primarily regarding subject-specific literacy in the school subject Physical Education and Health.
