Personal profile

My research focuses on long-run regional growth. I am specifically interested in the long-run impact of historical infrastructure investments such as railroads, electricity networks and town foundations. My work also deals with regional inequalities in the long run and I have constructed regional GDP per capita data that go back to the 16th century.
