Research

My research is focused on the dynamic interplay between climate, water resources, and biodiversity, particularly in rural and dispersed communities residing in tropical dry areas. Groundwater resources, in particular, are at the heart of my investigation, as they are vital common pool resources (CPR) facing the pressing risk of overexploitation, which ultimately impacts the delivery of essential "ecosystem services".
