Personal profile

Research

I study the interaction between, on the one hand, the evolution of macroeconomic policies and monetary regimes, and, on the other hand, the institutional structure of the economy, in particular the organisation of the labour market and the design of collective agreements. I use Swedish economic history as my empirical base. I work also on the evolution of the monetary system of Sweden, including the history of the Riksbank and the evolution of monetization over the long run.
