Knut Deppert works as professor at Lund University in Sweden with the application of aerosol methods to generate novel nanomaterials and -devices. Particularly should be mentioned the work on size-selected semiconductor and core@shell nanoparticles, on tailored pattering with nanoparticles, and on the creation of one-dimensional semiconductor structures like nanowires and -trees. Besides his research activities, he is deeply involved in the establishment of parts of Lund University in Science Village.
