Research

Kristian Soltesz's research focuses on data-driven modeling and control of cyberphysiological systems. A few examples include automated drug delivery in anesthesia, hemodynamic stabilization and ventilation in intensive care, and control systems to maintain and assess donor organ qaulity in transplantation.

He has an addition interest in developing methodology for process control within for example mining, bio-reactors, and process industrial plants. Kristian's projects typically include inter-disciplinary collaborations with clinical or industrial stakeholders.
