Personal profile

Research

I am a breast radiologist and clinical researcher. The aim of my research is to contribute to a further reduction in the mortality of breast cancer. I currently have two main projects. In the randomised controlled MASAI-trial we are evaluating if artificial intelligence can create a more effective and efficient mammography screening programme. In the project 23°N – Tropic of Cancer – we are developing accessible breast diagnostics for global health using artificial intelligence and point-of-care-ultrasound.
