My research areas:

Cancer rehabilitation
Retirement planning and pensions
Elderly care, migration, faith and integration
Labour market relations and social responsibilities
Local communities, cooperation and trust
Learning, pedagogical development and simulation

Teaching

My teaching focus is on welfare issues, e.g. the rise and change of the welfare state, and welfare developments in a more global setting. Pedagogically, I am devoted to student centred teaching where my students' creative and reflexive capabilities are well illuminated. Much of my teaching and pedagocial development work is in web-based education.
