Personal profile

Research

I am a postdoctoral researcher using CRISPR/Cas9-engineered iPSCs to create advanced models of neurodegeneration. By guiding iPSCs into neurons and glial cells and combining them in 2D and 3D co-culture systems, I recreate key features of disease in the lab. These models allow me to uncover how different cell types contribute to pathology and to pinpoint new therapeutic targets. My ultimate aim is to translate these insights into strategies for earlier diagnosis and intervention.
