Personal profile

Research

I am an associate professor in Experimental Nutrition specialized in polar lipids and lipid metabolism. In the last few years, I have broadened my knowledge to include regulation of vascular tonus in coronary arteries. I am currently the leader of a collaborative project investigating the effects of air borne urban PM2.5 on vascular tonus of coronary arteries and pulmonary immunology. This has developed to a PhD-project in Aerosol science, vascular- and pulmonary toxicology. My focus in this project is effects on vasomotor mechanisms in coronary arteries after exposure to airborne particles.
