Lina Magnusson teach and conduct research in global health. More specific she conducts disability and rehabilitation research in low income countries. Lina also works with developing international collaboration within the area of rehabilitation for persons with disabilities in low income countries.
Lina Magnusson successfully defended the thesis Prosthetic and Orthotic Services in Developing Countries 2014. The overall aim of Lina’s thesis was to generate further knowledge about prosthetic and orthotic services in developing countries. The thesis focused on patient mobility and satisfaction with prosthetic and orthotic devices, satisfaction with service delivery, and the views of staff regarding clinical practice and education.
Since January 2015, Lina work as assistant researcher/ University lecturer, and since 2023 as associat professor in global health.
