Research interests: financial incentives in publicly financed health care, determinants of patients' choices of health care provider, competition in primary care, and the role of telemedicine in primary care.

At LUSEM, I mainly supervise student essays. I am also assistant supervisor for a PhD student.

Most of my teaching takes place at Kristianstad University College. I teach introductory microeconomics at the business administration programme. I am also the course coordinator for a master course in health economic evaluation.

Results from ongoing and previous projects have been disseminated to policy makers in popular articles (Distriktsläkaren, Ekonomisk debatt, Kommunalekonomen), reports (KEFU - Kommunalekonomisk forskning och utbildning), policy seminars (Region Skåne, Folkhälsomyndigheten, KEFU), and governmental reports (SOU 2018:38). In 2019-20, I served as editor for the Swedish popular science magazine Ekonomisk Debatt.
