Research

Linnea Malmgren is a medical doctor and associate professor in geriatric research. Her research focuses on frailty, falls, fractures and kidney function in ageing. Given the current and expected increase of the ageing population, the research and health care society must strive for novel ways to meet this challenge and endeavor to prolong the years of healthy ageing. Linneas research project aims to identify and accurately characterize older individuals at high risk of adverse outcomes – an essential step towards precision medicine in geriatrics.
