Personal profile

Research

My research concerns the development of computational methods for solving and understanding engineering problems within structural dynamics and structural acoustics. The aim is to facilitate efficient use of materials in structural design, leading to reduced costs and environmental benefits. Specific focus is on efficient modeling of nonlinear structures and experimental methods for model validation. Applications involve dynamics of lightweight structures as well as civil structures under blast and impact loading.
