My research interests centre on practice-oriented studies related to norm‑breaking behaviours, particularly drug addiction and criminality. I have conducted research on medication‑assisted treatment of opioid addiction, opioid‑related mortality, and child‑to‑parent violence.

Current research includes a register‑based mapping and longitudinal follow‑up of individuals who have received care and support for substance‑related problems or gambling problems from various providers in Skåne. Another ongoing project examines the experiences of parents and professionals in cases where adolescents expose their parents to violence.

I teach at several levels within the Bachelor of Social Work programme, primarily as a supervisor, seminar leader, and examiner. My teaching mainly focuses on issues related to substance‑related problems and social work practice. I also teach in the standalone course Medication Assisted Treatment of Opioid Dependence (SOAO02).

I am an Associate Senior Lecturer in Social Work with a professional background in both social services and probation services. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Social Work and have extensive experience working with adolescents and adults with substance‑related problems and criminality.
