Personal profile

Research

I earned my PhD in 2007 in the field of occupational therapy. I became occupational therapist in 1974, earned a Master degree in 1996 and became Specialist in occupational therapy in 2011.

I am associated to Institution of Health Sciences in different ways since 2011 - lecturing, supervision of essey and master thesis writing, and participate in different research seminars.

During the research education I developed the intervention Driving to Learn in powered wheelchair for people with cognitive disabilities (1993-2007). My special interests are tool use learning and assessment and facilitation of the learning process, therefore my collaborator Josephine Durkin, PhD (U.K.) and I developed the Assessment of Learning Powered mobility use (ALP).

Ongoing collaborations nationally and internationally to explore, develop and disseminate knowledge of what facilitates development and learning in all humans independent of age or abilities.
