Personal profile

Professional work

I am a Bioinformatics expert at NBIS in Lund University. I am enthusiastic about implementing computational tools and techniques to answer different biological questions.

Research

I have mainly worked with microbiology projects in terms of their ecology and evolution. The main toolset that I have used to investigate these factors were of bioinformatics and genomics. My  PhD project was to understand soil microbial communities and the related ecosystem functioning in terms of their genetic potential to address the effects of climate change.

My research interest generally lies around environmental effects on microbial genetics and their functioning. This emcompasses mainly their ecology and evolution and but also their effects on human health.
