Personal profile

Research

I took my nursing degree in Lund 2007. During my studies, I worked full-time in student unions for two years and was for instance member of the board of the Medical Faculty and of the university management.

I finished my PhD in 2013 with a dissertation that focused on preventive home visits by a case manager. The focus of the thesis was to evaluate the effects on health care consumption, health care costs and the experiences of the intervention. After my dissertation and until the end of 2014, I was employed as assistant researcher. My research involved investigating the aging of people with intellectual disabilities, especially in mapping their healthcare utilization and disease panoramas.

In 2014 I received a 2-year postdoc grant from Forte (the Swedish Research Council for Health, Working Life and Welfare) and I will during 2015-2016 continue evaluate and develop case manager for frail older people.
