Research

I am specialist in Infectious diseases at the Dep. of Infectious Disesases, Skåne University Hospital and associate professor at the Department of Infection Medicine, Lund University. My research focuses on registered based studies of different aspects of infectious diseases epidemiology. I am principal investigator of one project regarding severe side-effects antibiotic treatment, another project regarding antimicrobial resistance and microbiology of severe exacerbations in COPD. I have recently initiated a project concerning long-term effects of sepsis.
