Automatic methods for identifying and connecting things such as persons, organizations, locations, etc. written using natural language. In addition, scalable methods and applications for processing and storing large collections of textual corpora.

Concretly, using multilingual open data sources such as Wikipedia and knowledge graphs such as Wikidata. A key step is to enrich these resources. This means researching methods which adds structure to enable usable information extraction in conjuction with machine learning to ultimately derive new connected knowledge.
