I am working as a clinical pharmacist in Region Skåne where my focus is to, in different ways, increase medication safety.
In May 2023 I defended my thesis titled Readmission to hospital within 30 days of discharge - in older adults at Family Medicine and Community Medicine, within the Department of Clinical Sciences, Malmö. My main supervisor during my time as a PhD student was Patrik Midlöv and I had three co-supervisors: Annika Kragh Ekstam, Ulf Jakobsson och Åsa Bondesson. During my time as a PhD student I was affiliated to the National Graduate School on Ageing and Health - SWEAH - and I am now a member of the SWEAH Alumni Interdisciplinary Network, SAIN.
My phd-project revolved around readmission to hospital within 30 days of discharge, in older adults. The goal of this project, in the long run, is to identify patients at increased risk of readmission as well as to improve the discharging process - in order to decrease the risk of, mainly, medication-related readmission in older adults. As I am now a postdoctoral student I will continue this research as a co-supervisor.
I am interested in collaborations and researchprojects focusing on medication safety generally and improving the care of our older adults specifically.
