I am part of the research project "Intimate occupations: bordering and family relationships in Palestine, Georgia and Western Sahara (VR 2021-2024 together with Nina Gren). My role in the project is to see how Saharawi family relationships are shaped by (and shape) the Moroccan occupation.
I have a PhD from Gothenburg University (2012) with a thesis on household economies and morality in contemporary Havana, Cuba. I have lectured in social antropologi as well as Global Studies, Latin American Studies etc.
The last nine years I have worked as an applied anthropologist outside of academia as an evaluator, teacher in adult education, and within international solidarity/development aid.
