Research

My focus of interest lies in conservation, population ecology and sustainable development. My original fascination in population ecology and landscape ecology has through municipal work grown to include an interest in how scientific results translate into policy documents and how these are implemented in societal planning and development in order to conserve biodiversity.

I am currently a postdoctoral researcher at the CEC, where I will be working with the concept of green infrastructure as a policy tool for biodiversity conservation. I am also involved in a project investigating the urban environmental impact on avian health.
