Personal profile

Research

My ongoing research concerns intimate partner violence against women (IPVAW), in the context of the so-called Nordic Paradox: despite Sweden being ranked as one of the most gender equal countries in the world, survey-reported levels of IPVAW are here among the highest in the EU (FRA 2014). Alongside this, I work with intersectional quantitative analysis of disparities in health.

I also do research on alternative knowledge claims on copper IUDs and HPV-vaccine, as these are communicated and discussed in Swedish social media.

During 2019/20 I participate in a Pufedorfproject on antibiotic resistance.
