Research

Mariona is a PhD student in the Membrane Group in the Division of Chemical Engineering at Lund University. Her research focuses on lignin recovery from kraft black liquor by membrane filtration. The goal of her work is to study the membrane process implementation by analyzing the performance of commercial membranes, optimize the cleaning process by response surface methodology, and to study the main foulants that hinder flux recovery.
