Research

Martin Stridh received the M.S. degree in electrical engineering from Lund University, Lund, Sweden in 1997 and the Ph.D. degree in signal processing in 2003. He is presently an associate professor at the department of Biomedical Engineering, Lund University, Sweden. He teaches biomedical engineering, signal processing, e-health, and datadriven health/machine learning for the Biomedical Engineering students at Lund Institute of Technology and his main research interests are processing of biomedical signals and related data and data-driven approaches to diagnostics and treatment outcome prediction. Current research include automatic arrhythmia detection and outcome prediction in large databases of home-based ECG measurements, and event detection in cardiac as well as eye-tracking signals. He is founder of the company Cardiolund AB which is focused on automated ECG analysis for arrhythmia screening and patient prioritisation.
