Personal profile

Research

I am a Bioinformatician at Lund University and SciLifeLab. I have spent significant time in my career developing extensive experience in the analysis of Next Generation Sequencing data, especially genomics and transcriptomics.

I have a taste for the non-coding genome, with a particular interest in Transposable Elements and Long non-coding RNAs. I have developed novel pipelines to study the impact of TEs in the evolution of genomes and the nervous system and define the biological function and targets of a new class of circular non-coding RNA.
