Research

Mathias Haage is co-initiator and active participant in several national construction robotics projects. He is co-founder and head of the Center for Construction Robotics at Lund University and co-founder of and part time senior engineer at the robotics company Cognibotics AB. He has long experience on working in academic multi-disciplinary contexts and in working in close relationship with industry. His early efforts was dedicated towards improving robotics for SMEs in manufacturing. To this end he has been an active participant in several EU projects aimed towards manufacturing SMEs and holds a PhD in computer science on this subject. His late efforts are dedicated towards introducing and finding niches for robotics automation in the construction industry, working closely together with actors in the actor value chain through the Center for Construction Robotics.
