Research

Research on efficient learning with robots in industrial assembly tasks.

Todays robots are often traditionally programmed. While this allows a high level of repeatability and fast execution times the process is also static, needs precise as well as explicit statements as well as skilled factory workers.
This research aims at allowing a robot to learn how to perform a task. Additionally this process will be complemented by providing knowledge about the task in order to speed up the learning rate.
