Personal profile

Research

Working on green industrial policy, industrial decarbonisation, and electrification. I have been working in the field of energy and climate  policy both as a researcher, as a civil servant and as an international consultant since 1998. My PhD thesis in 2003 was on zero emission vehicles but after this, my worked expanded towards analyzing the development of biofuels and also towards the complexity of industry, climate policy and innovation polices. I left Lund university in 2006 and continued my career as an international consultant (in Nairobi and in Tunis ) and as a civil servant at the Climate Policy Unit at the Swedish EPA. In 2013 I returned to Lund university and have since then worked on green industrial policy, deep decarbonisatin of heavy industries, global climate and trade policy, and on the consequences of renewable electrification on the management of the power system.
