    Personal profile

The world economy is currently based on linear production models, which has resulted in an ever increasing amount of waste being produced. A shift to a circular economy would be necessary to reach a sustainable society, in which valuable resources are reclaimed from waste. My research focuses on developing processes that could enable such an economic model, for example through the valorization of animal manure or the recycling of waste textiles.
