I have a long-standing interest in the medical applications of proteins, with a particular focus on how their unique molecular functions can be harnessed for diagnostics and therapeutics.
During my doctoral studies, I explored protein engineering to design antibody–enzyme complexes for electrochemical biosensing, aiming to develop highly sensitive diagnostic platforms. Building on this foundation, my current research extends to biomaterials, investigating enamel matrix proteins such as amelogenin to explore their potential in biomineralization-inspired materials and regenerative medicine.
Through these projects, I aim to bridge fundamental protein science with translational applications that address biomedical needs.
