Personal profile

Research

My main research focus is on cardiac imaging using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in arrhythmia. Current image techniques yield suboptimal images in cases with eg atrial fibrillation which leaves the clinical reader with subjective rating of cardiac function. Emerging techniques, however, could make it possible to achieve sharp diagnostic imaging even in these patients, which will lead to more reliable evaluation of the cardiac function in these patients.
