Personal profile

Research

I work as an Associate Professor (Docent) at the Department of Informatics, Lund University.

With a PhD in Information Systems and with 35+ research publications, I conduct research at the intersection of critical research areas of information systems, strategic management, cybersecurity, ethics, data privacy, and data integrity, in privileged and underprivileged contexts from a global perspective. My work explores the intricate relationships of cyber-spaces with individual, organisational, and societal aspects, that particularly target data integrity, data privacy, and data ethics.

I received my PhD degree from Linnaeus University, a Master’s Degree in Computer Science from Växjö University, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from South East European University. I also worked in the industry as a software engineer and a database administrator, and continue to hold key relationships with industrial partners for my research and teaching activities.

I am a board member and an affiliated senior with the Swedish Research School of Management and IT (MIT), and a committee member of the IFIP 9.2. I also serve as an Associate Editor at several conferences.

I also hold the position as a representative at the school on the board for equal rights and equal opportunities, as well as I am part of Internationalization at the school in several levels.

I lead two courses at the department that are part of our Bachelor's programme in Information Systems and our Master's programme in Information Systems:
