Mohsen Bayat Pour (Nickname: Iman) is a Doctoral Student (Doktorand) at the Division of Structural Engineering, Lund University, Sweden. He received his two bachelors of science in civil engineering with a focus on structural design and mechanical engineering with proficiency in heat and fluid transfer. He also finished his two masters of science in hydraulic structures by researching on fibre reinforced concrete and also in Energy-Efficient and Environmental Building Design from Lund University (LTH). He has several years of experience in designing, managing, and implementing structures, infrastructures, mechanical installation, LCC, LCA, and environmental engineering.
His research interests are in the area of applying bio-based materials in construction, energy efficiency in the buildings, structural design, moisture-related issues, indoor air quality, life cycle assessment, and future climate analysis.
His PhD project focuses on probabilistic methodology in simulation for moisture-safe and durable bio-based building envelopes for timber structures.
