Research

Monica Kåredal (MSc in chemical engineering, PhD), hospital chemist and researcher, is involved in research concerning identifying pathophysiological mechanism behind respiratory, vascular or neural symptoms induced by occupational or environmental exposure. She develops chemical analysis methods to monitor exposures and adverse health effects, primarily by biomonitoring but also by measurements in air and on surfaces, e.g. screening methods for monitoring occupational exposure to antineoplastic drugs and antibiotics by wipe sampling.
