Personal profile

Research

I am associate professor in English literature. I joined Lund University in September 2022. My research gauges the transformative potential of literature for readers' embodiment in the environment. My current work includes the book-size project called the “Visceral Novel Reader”, which develops a diachronic model for the transformative potential of novels for readers’ embodied repertoire, and "Aquatic Imaginaries", which investigates the transformative possibilities of 21st-century British poetry from the perspective of environmental humanities.
