Personal profile

Research

My research interests are statistical machine learning, directional statistics, non-parametric modeling, and Bayesian statistics. I am also interested in researching the sustainable development of AI systems by increasing transdisciplinary knowledge about complex systems. In my past research projects, I collaborated with Biologists, Medical Physicians, Epidemiologists, Physicists, and Computer Scientists to translate their needs in the development work to explore and visualize complex relationships between different data sources.

I received my Ph.D. in 2015 from Shahid Beheshti University, Tehran, Iran and was a tenure-track assistant professor of Statistics at Persian Gulf University and Shiraz University between 2015 to 2019.
