    Personal profile

I am a research fellow in Statistics at the Andrelab in the Center for Molecular Protein Science and a researcher at eSSENCE: The e-Science Collaboration.  I currently research computational Bayesian methods to combine experimental and computational models to analyze the Small-Angle X-Ray Scattering (SAXS) data.

I received my Ph.D. in 2015 from Shahid Beheshti University, Tehran, Iran and was a tenure-track assistant professor of Statistics at Persian Gulf University and Shiraz University between 2015 to 2019. My research interests are statistical machine learning, non-parametric modeling, and Bayesian statistics applying to structural biology and neuroimaging. I have a strong collaboration with Biologists, Medical Physicians, Epidemiologists, Physicists, and Computer Scientists.

I am CEO and co-founder of the Scientific Data Analysis Team (SDAT), a non-profit organization with a goodwill vision: "Organizations committed to data-driven solutions," and have been involved in several innovative statistical learning programs to train the data scientist. I also investigated clinical neuroimaging by collaborating with the research center for molecular and cellular imaging at Tehran University of Medical Sciences and being a non-resident researcher at the Neuroimaging analysis group (NIAG) focused on applying statistical methods in the MRI and fMRI data analysis.
