Research

My research is mainly focused on change processes in various types of organizations. I have studied organizational change processes in an IT-company and a non-profit organization. Both studies are interpretative and ethnographic oriented. The primary focus is on social processes following various change attempts. My aim is to contribute to a more nuanced understanding of change processes that goes beyond the commonly used concept “resistance to change”. The understandings of the organizational members are in center, particularly their understanding of themselves (identity) and their work, and processes in which these understandings are reproduced.
