Personal profile

Research

Nordic editor-in-chief (w Lotta Wendel, MAU) Retfærd – Nordic Journal of Law and Justice. www.retfaerd.se

My research interests concern the legal system as it relates to the labour market. Primarily my research covers the legal rules applicable to the relationship between employer and employee as well as between employer and trade union.

Furthermore, my research covers adjoining fields of law such as anti-discrimination law, migration law, human rights and general private law etc.

I draw on theories of Industrial Relations and aim to explore relations of power through a focus on global and local legal regulations of state, capital and labour.

Teaching

Course director:

JAEN64 European Labour Law and the Internal Market

I teach on all levels in the LLM-programme, primarily in corporate law, labour and employment law, antidiscrimination law, health- and safety legislation, as well as general private law and gender and law.

A special feature of my teaching profile is teaching law to non-lawyers. I am involved in several courses at the Faculty of Social Science where my contributions focus on anti-discrimination law, labour and employment law from a gender perspective, as well as feminist approaches to law.

Outreach

I partake in debates on labour law, migration, EU law, and social responsibility of academia.
