Research

I am a reg. occupational therapist with a reserach intreset in people with neurological diseases, rehabilitation, housing matters and psychometrics.

Since December 2022, I have a post doc position in the reserach group "Sustainable occupations and health in a life course perspective" at Lund University. The focus is to examine activity and participation of people with late effects of polio who have undergone rehabilitation 10 years ago and whether there is further need for rehabilitation; and to evaluate a digital fatigue rehabilitation program for people with late effects of polio.

During 2018-2022 I was a doctoral student affilated to the research group Active and Healthy Aging, Lund University. My thesis is entitled "Housing Matters for people with Parkinson´s disease - Accessibility, Meaning, Control and Activites of Daily Living" and  focuses on different housing aspects and the relation to health among people with Parkinson's disease.

Professional work

I graduated as an occupational therapist in 2006 from Lund University. My clinical background is in specialized rehabilitation for persons with chronic diseases, such as Multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease and dementia. I also have a master in medical science.
