Research

Oksana MONT is a professor in sustainable consumption governance, research coordinator at the IIIEE (International Institute for Industrial Environmental Economics) at Lund University, Sweden. She conducts inter-and trans-disciplinary and international research in the design, application, and evaluation of strategies and tools for sustainable consumption and production. The current focus is on business models in the sharing economy and circular economy, as well as sustainable lifestyles, sufficiency and prosperity.

The expertise in innovative business models is combined with a focus on sustainable urban lifestyles, consumer and organisational behaviour, and sustainable consumption policy. She leads projects that examine the role of policy and governance regimes for enabling and shaping everyday choices of individuals, businesses, and organisations by various policy tools and strategies.  She is involved in high-level consultancy for international and national organisations. Oksana has over 15 years of project leadership. She is an author of more than 150 peer-reviewed publications.
