Personal profile

Research

My research interests lie in applied work at the intersection of International and Labor Economics, where I study how cultural norms shape gender inequality in the era of globalization. Another broad area I explore is how firms innovate when exposed to trade-induced shocks.

I am also interested in the spatial distribution of economic activities across regions. In the recent past, I have been working on several projects in the field of Urban and Regional Economics. Among other things, we study the function and role of the retail sector in urban and rural development in Sweden.
