I am an engineer interested in how we can use micro- and nanofluidics in order to revolutionize biology and medical technology. Microfluidics has the potential to enormously reduce resources used and general cost for these fields and in the same time speeding up all processes.
In my PhD research I focus on developing microfluidic tools to manipulate and sort DNA solutions. I do this in order to understand the DNA flow dynamics and exploit the new phenomena to improve DNA sample preparation for genetic analysis.
