I am an ecologist fascinated by mutualistic interactions between plants and animals and how those interactions contribute to phenotypic evolution and geographic biodiversity patterns. To approach this subject, I combine good natural history grounded on community ecology theory and mathematical evolutionary models. Currently, I'm a PostDoc Researcher from Carl Tryggers Foundation under Dr. Friberg's supervision at the SpACE group (Speciation, Adaptation and Coevolution). Specifically for my current project, I'm focusing on how a well-known coevolved pairwise interaction (Lithophragma bolanderi and Greya politella) is affected by its surrounding community and its network of interactions. All of that in the beautiful Sierra Nevada, in Califórnia.
I'm also very interested in Philosophy of Science and how our view of the world shapes the science we do. I deeply enjoy working in teams and learning from the different perceptions and approaches to questions. Because of that, I'm a strong supporter of diversity in Science.
