Personal profile

Research

My research has focused on drug-related problems in the elderly. This was the subject of my thesis. After my PhD, my research has broadened to elderly patients in general as well as cardiovascular diseases in primary care. In my research I cooperate with institutions within Lund University as well as with colleagues at Linköping University, Gothenburg University, Tromsö University, and the George Institute for Global Health in Sydney. I conduct different kind of studies, e.g. registry and intervention studies. RCTs are e.g. treatment of hypertension in primary care with use of person-centred care end the effect of medication reviews on drug-related problems.

Another important research area is E-health. On-going studies include research within telemedicine, digital decision support, artificial intelligence, and self-monitoring of chronic conditions. These studies are all conducted in primary care settings.
