Research

Dr. Per Runeson is a professor of software engineering at Lund University, Sweden, and the leader of its Software Engineering Research Group (SERG) and co-PI of the competence center NextG2Com. His research interests include empirical research on software development and management methods, in particular for verification and validation and for open source software and data, particularly with focus on open science. He is the principal author of ”Case study research in software engineering”, has coauthored ”Experimentation in software engineering”, serves on the editorial board of Software Testing, Verification and Reliability, the advisory board of Empirical Software Engineering, and is a member of several program committees.
