My research interest is focused on computer intense methods of calculating distribution functions in the context of circular statistics. The calculations of the distribution functions rely entirely of integration of function of Bessel functions in several dimensions a classical problem not only in statistics but also in physics and mathematics. Circular statistics mainly focus on modelling and analysis of measurements of directions and angles in two (or several dimensions). The models and methods in circular statistics are not only suitable for direct analyze of measurements of directions and angles but are also very handsome and efficient for analyzing phenomena of periodic or cyclic behavior. I also develop new statistical models in marketing, Markov chain modeling in option framing.
My main areas of teaching are in statistics at all levels (from introductory level to PhD courses) such as: Probability and inference theory, Applied statistics, Biostatistics, Stochastic processes, Time series analysis, Econometrics, Financial statistics, Statistical computations and Computer intense methods, and also in Multivariate analysis. I have also supervised and examined bachelor and master theses.
