Research

My research is in Applied Microeconometrics, including Labor, Education, and Health Economics. I focus on the causes and consequences of people's educational choices and on the institutional factors that shape educational achievement and later-life outcomes. Another focus of mine is the study of inequality in educational and labor market outcomes. My research spans different stages of people's careers, from the early school years to adulthood.

I have worked with data sources from various countries, including the U.S., Sweden, Denmark, and Switzerland. I am fascinated by how analyzing different data sets and contexts can jointly contribute to a broader understanding of human choices.
