Personal profile

Research

My research focus on heat and mass transfer in buildings and building materials. The wo main research questions for me are how to build energy efficient buildings and how to build moisture safe buildings. Methods i use are both analytical and numerical. The scales vary from millimmeters in wooden walls to building blocks connected with district heating pipes.

One extremely important aspect of my work is to teach these methods and research outomes to my students. Research without teaching is for me an unbalanced situation.
